It is possible that a merchant may receive an error when attempting to renew an SSL certificate. Instead of automatically renewing the SSL certificate, one or more secured sites may fail DCV (domain control validation).
Please ensure that it is the Thrive site itself that has an invalid SSL certificate; it is possible that the merchant has a custom domain that is hosted elsewhere, and that is the one that is failing DCV.
To check the Thrive site,
- navigate to it,
- then click on the small padlock in the address bar,
- then select "Connection is secure" from the dropdown menu.
- and then click on "Certificate is valid"
