Messaging members of multiple campaigns


When a subscriber is part of multiple campaigns within the same account, it is possible for them to receive multiple messages when both campaigns are selected in text broadcasts.


To determine if customers will receive multiple messages, consider the following:

  • When the broadcasts are created as separate broadcasts scheduled to run at the same time, their subscribers will receive multiple messages.
  • Otherwise, for example when a single broadcast includes two or more campaigns, and there are common subscribers between these campaigns, the multiple messages will be filtered out.

NOTE: This functionality has not been changed in the transition to toll free numbers - what worked with short codes should also work with toll free numbers.
