Overview

This article provides an outline of how the Thrive Page Builder can be used in designing a Merchant's mobile-responsive website. You can easily set up new pages in Thrive using the Thrive Page Builder.

Using the Visual Editor - Setting Up New Pages

The Thrive page builder comes with many drag and drop content blocks that are used to quickly assemble a webpage. These content blocks have predefined mobile-responsive Bootstrap styling and their content can be customized using a simple point and click interface. More meaningful edits can be made in the source HTML. The various content blocks are available on the left-hand menu.

  • Log into the business's Thrive account.

  • In the top menu, go to Experience > Pages.

  • To add a new page, you will have to click on the top left corner, as you can see in the image below:

  • ​You add the name and select the template:



  • After that you can start to add content by dragging and dropping the elements on the left bar:

Like any document, anything that is placed in the Header or Footer areas will be replicated across all pages within a site. This is most commonly used to present cohesive branding and maintain navigation links.

Using the Visual Editor - Adding an Image

  1. Log into the business Thrive's account.

  2. In the top menu, go to Experience > Pages.

  3. Find the page you wish to modify in the list and click the Edit button on the right.

  4. In the Thrive Editor, expand the Media section on the left menu. Choose the content block design that best fits your needs and drag it onto the page. 

  5. Now you can replace the image by hovering your mouse over the image and clicking on the blue camera option.

  6. Locate the blue OK button and the images should now fit in your specified image block.

    Note: For carousels and slideshows, an image must be chosen for each individual slide.

The Engage Sign-Up Form Content Block

  1. When putting the Engage content block onto a page, an Engage Form settings screen shows up. This is where you enter the campaign ID. (For example 25565)

  2. When anyone fills out the form, they will be added to the campaign that has the selected ID (For example 25565) for the connected engage account.

Changing the Engage Account

When you change the connected Engage account, you will also have to change the campaign ID so the system will add them to the correct campaign.

  1. To do this, click on the content block and hover over it. Click on the gear icon that appears.

  2. This will bring up the Engage Form Settings. Just input the new campaign ID, and then click Save Engage Form Settings.
